After the positive response for my latest self-publishing post, I thought it would be fun and useful to tackle that subject again. I’m always on the lookout for ways to save money on the ebooks I read. After all, I can spend it on even more ebooks.

Find the best price on Kindle ebooks

If you’re an Amazon purchaser, this tip will come in handy. The next time you go shopping, take a closer look at the box where you can choose what format to purchase the book in. Notice the small plus sign to the left on the word Kindle. Yep, that’s important. Click it, and you’ll see if there are other Kindle versions of the book that might be priced differently. I’d take a look at the book descriptions to determine if there’s a reason for the difference, and a reason to purchase one in favor of the other. If not, this tip might save you a little money.

Get reminders on Kindle Daily Deals

The Kindle Daily Deal is a great way to find discounts on ebooks, but it’s useless if you forget to check Amazon daily. Here is where a phone app comes in handy.

For Android, we have the Kindle Daily Deal Notifier. I use this one on my phone, and it works great. You can even set a time of day for it to go check and remind you. It also works for both the US and UK Amazon sites. If you go to the Google Play store, you’ll see there are several.
