I recommend you to try out the theme Freshy by Jide.fr. There are two versions
Freshy 1 – http://www.jide.fr/english/downloads/template-freshy-wordpress/
Freshy 2 (beta) – http://www.jide.fr/freshy-20-preview-release

I think Jide.fr is having version 1. I have Freshy2 installed on my site (http://www.joycebabu.com/). Freshy 2 requires a little tweaking before it works with WordPress v2.2.

Oh yup, amazon gift is nice but not I think most people will be attracted to real cash when it come to winning prize. You might want to consider cash via Paypal as the prize to drive more traffic.
